A serious Halloween mishap occurred when an 8-year-old trick-or-treater was hit by a car in Alexandria.
The incident took place Thursday night and the child was taken to Children’s National Medical Center.
The driver fled the scene, but was arrested soon after.
The boy suffered a broken leg as a result of the crash.
