One man was injured after an Amtrak train and a vehicle collided in Virginia.
The driver, Untron Drew, was airlifted to a Richmond hospital after an Amtrak train in route to Boston crashed into his car as he was attempting to drive around a train track cross barrier.
The accident occurred around 6 a.m. Thursday. The train did not derail and none of the passengers were injured.
Drew’s injuries were non-life-threatening.
The Northeast Regional train 174 continued its route following the crash, pending a two-hour delay.
