Orioles, Nationals game postponed by rain

Tuesday night’s game between the Baltimore Orioles and Washington Nationals was postponed by rain after a delay of approximately 2 hours, 30 minutes. The matchup between the rivals will be made up on August 4th. Doug Fister was scheduled to start for Washington. The Nationals lost the opener of the series 8-2 in 11 innings on Monday.The Orioles came into this game after winning seven of eight. They re-activated right-hander Bud Norris from the disabled list to make his first start since June 21. He had been sidelined with a strained groin.
