Alexander Bradley, who alleged that he was shot in the face by former New England Patriots tight end Aaron Hernandez in Florida, was shot again outside a Connecticut nightclub. Bradley was shot multiple times in the right thigh Sunday night outside the Vevo Lounge Bar & Grill in Hartford’s South Meadows neighborhood and was taken to a local hospital under police guard.
Bradley was an associate of Hernandez’s when Bradley alleges that Hernandez shot him in the face as they argued outside of a Miami club last February, causing him to lose his right eye. Hernandez is detained on a murder charge in the death of Odin Lloyd after his body was found June 17 near Hernandez’s home in North Attleborough, Massachusetts. Lloyd was a semi-professional football player. Hernandez plead not guilty.
Boston police linked both Bradley and Hernandez to a double homicide in July 2012. Boston police called Hartford police Monday about Bradley’s shooting as part of their investigation.
