Steve Ballmer has became the new owner of the Los Angeles Clippers after the $2 billion sale. “Really excited — in a pretty hardcore way — to continue the path to making the Clippers a better and better basketball team, and a better and better citizen of the Los Angeles community,” Ballmer stated. Ballmer almost became an NBA owner last year before owners decided to keep the Kings in Sacramento, rather than sell them to a group that included Ballmer and moved to Seattle. Ballmer wants to move on from past drama and focus the team on being “a great citizen in the community for a diverse set of folks.”
