Politics – Sanders wins Oregon, Clinton narrowly takes Kentucky; New Jersey to Trump: not Christie

In a narrow win against Vermont Senator Bernie Sanders, Hillary Clinton scraped by with a win in Kentucky by a half a percentage point. Sanders took Oregon easily, and said he would not drop out of the race “until the last ballot is cast” despite pressure from the Clinton campaign. While Sanders and Clinton battle to the finish for the Democratic nomination, presumptive Republican nominee Donald Trump is reportedly looking for a running mate to add to his presidential ticket. A new poll by Quinnipiac University released Wednesday may help Trump narrow down his search. According to 72% of New Jersey voters, Trump should look for someone other than New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie, whose approval rating is currently at its all-time low.
