The Associated Press is projecting former Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney as the winner of the New Hampshire primary on Tuesday night. Romney placed first with 36 percent of the votes. Texas Rep. Ron Paul placed second with 24 percent, followed by Utah Gov. Jon Huntsman in third with 18 percent. Newt Gingrich and Rick Santorum were in a distant fourth and fifth place.
