An Alabama husband admitted to killing his wife, three dogs and parrots after growing angry over a text he saw on his wife’s phone, which read, “He’s only been home for a few minutes and he’s already talking crap.” Robin Wayne Penton, 53, also complained his wife and parrot spoke too much. Penton allegedly shot his wife three times in the back of the head before placing her in the bathtub surrounded by flowers and an angel figurine. Penton and his suicide note were found near his wife’s body after he overdosed on hydrocodone and alcohol. Paramedics were able to save Penton’s life after his OD and his case will now proceed to a grand jury.
