FedEx Employee Wounds 6 in Warehouse Shooting, Takes Own Life

Minutes before 6 a.m. at the FedEx package and delivery facility in Kennesaw, Georgia, Geddy Kramer, armed with a shotgun, opened fire on fellow employees before turning the weapon on himself, taking his own life. The 19-year-old Acworth resident’s body was found near a shotgun, according to Cobb County Police Sgt, Dana Pierce. The six victims were rushed to WellStar Kennestone Hospital; according to an emergency room doctor, three of the victims arrived in critical condition and all appeared to have suffered wounds caused by shotgun blasts. All six of the victims survived the shooting, although two remain in critical condition. A FedEx spokesperson was quoted saying “The situation is now stabilized, and we are focused on the needs of our team members and cooperating with the law enforcement investigation of this tragedy.”
