All eight alleged victims will testify against Jerry Sandusky

Preliminary hearings in the case of former Penn State coach Jerry Sandusky begin next week, and all eight of the boys allegedly sexually abused will testify against him. Sandusky is accused of molesting eight boys over a 15-year period. Sandusky’s defense, Joe Amendola, had previously sad that at least one boy denied he was abused. News that all eight victims will testify comes as a blow to Sandusky’s defense.

The decision of all eight victims to testify was spurred by a desire to dispute Sandusky’s claims. Sandusky has denied the accusations leveled against him, saying “The environment was family-like. All the times were precious times, they were significant times.” Attorney Michael Boni, who represents Victim Number 1, said, “These were, quote, ‘precious’ moments for him. In fact, they were the most vile, horrendous, unspeakable moments for his victims.”
