Sexual abuse at a deaf school: school aide charged

0

Three victims have come forward regarding sexual abuse that occurred between 2008 and 2010 at the Maryland School for the Deaf. The girls, who are now 15 and 16 years old, were overnight students at the school when Clarence Cepheus Taylor, 37, of Windsor Mill, was an evening-shift dorm-aide. They said that while in the dorms, Taylor would rub up against their breasts and backsides, and kiss them as they stood up from the drinking fountain. One of the girls said she finally came forward after learning that there may be others who shared in the abuse. Taylor, who is now a day-time teacher’s aide at the school, was arrested Thursday and charged with three counts of sexual abuse of a minor.
