A nurse who has been volunteering in Sierra Leone to assist in the care of Ebola patients will enter the U.S. Thursday. She will be admitted to the National Institutes of Health (NIH) in Bethesda. Her identity has not been released, but the NIH says she will be taken to a special unit designed to work with contagious diseases. She will be isolated and monitored there, to determine if she requires treatment. She will enter the country through Dulles International Airport, which has been named one of the few airports in the US approved to handle similar patient transfers.
