Heroin sting indicts 23 in Ocean City

After a six-week long undercover investigation, police in Ocean City, Maryland have charged 23 people in a major bust on heroin trafficking. Heroin use is on the rise in Ocean City, possibly because increased scrutiny on prescription narcotics has made heroin cheaper and easier to get onto the street. Undercover officers reportedly made 72 buys of the opiate during their investigation. Ocean City has seen a massive increase of heroin arrests in the past year.
