To promote Fire Prevention Week, Prince George’s County Fire and Emergency Medical Services are teaming up with Domino’s Pizza in a unique promotion. Firefighters will deliver some of the pizzas ordered during the week, and if the smoke detector in the home is working, the ordered pizza is free. If the smoke detector in the residence is not working, the recipient will have to pay for the pizza. However, the firefighters will also install a new, free, 10-year tamper proof alarm. The participating stores and times are below. Not every pizza ordered during these times will be delivered by a firefighter, and the department has yet to announce how many homes it times to visit, or how they will choose which.

Tuesday, Oct. 7: 4646 New Carrollton Rd. from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m.
Wednesday, Oct. 8: 4653 Forestville Rd. from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m.
Saturday, Oct. 11: 4658 Greenbelt Rd. from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m.
