A Prince George’s County officer has been suspended after receiving a DUI charge.
Cpl. Rodney Lewis was reportedly off-duty when he crashed his vehicle on the northern Virginia Capital Beltway Friday morning.
Lewis has since been suspended with pay and charged with driving under the influence.
The department’s 12-year veteran was taken to the hospital after the accident with non-life threatening injuries.
