According to a Cecil County emergency officials, a 19-year-old woman was struck by lightening at a zoo.
The woman, who was an intern at Plumpton Park Zoo in Rising Sun, was feeding animals when the storm blew in on Thursday morning. The woman was standing near a tree when the lightening struck.
A co-worker performed CPR on the woman until paramedics arrived. She was taken to Union Hospital and was later transferred Christiana Hospital in Delaware.
No details on her condition have been given.
