On Tuesday afternoon, a bus near Libertytown collided with another vehicle injuring 5 people — 4 of which were students. No one suffered life-threatening injuries, but everyone was taken to Frederick Memorial Hospital to be examined. The driver of the vehicle was also taken to a trauma unit care center via helicopter, and his conditions remain unknown. The accident caused Route 75 between Old Annapolis Road and Glissans Mill Road to close down for the majority of the day. A county spokesperson said the bus was taking approximately 14 children home from school when the crash occurred.
