Rapper Nas’ ‘Life is Good’ tops Billboard 200 chart

Hip-hop star Nas topped the Billboard 200 album chart with his latest CD, “Life is Good.” “Life is Good” is the Queens rapper’s 10th studio album and it’s his sixth album to reach No. 1. According to Nielsen SoundScan, the album sold 149,000 copies in its first week. The rapper’s last solo project, 2008’s “Untitled,” also debuted at No. 1 with 187,000 copies sold. The 38-year-old “If I Ruled The World” and “Daughters” rapper knocked the country music collective Zac Brown Band off of the top and into the No. 2 spot. The band’s “Uncaged” sold 78,000 in its second week. The latest album from the Kidz Bop franchise, “Kidz Bop 22,” featuring child-friendly versions of pop hits such as The Wanted’s “Glad You Came” and Nicki Minaj’s “Starships,” landed at No. 3 with 64,000 copies sold.
