Katherine Jackson reunites with grandchildren

Katherine Jackson is back home with her grandchildren after a judge temporarily took away her guardianship due to the sudden, unplanned days she spent away from the children. Superior Court Judge Mitchell Beckloff ruled Wednesday to remove Jackson as guardian to her late son, Michael Jackson’s, three children. Her grandson, Tito Joe “TJ” Jackson, was listed as a temporary caretaker of the children amid a bitter family dispute over Michael Jackson’s estate.

The 82-year-old Jackson matriarch told ABC News that the court ruling was “based on a bunch of lies.” She also denied reports made in court and in court filings to support TJ Jackson’s appointment that she was being held against her will.

“I am here today to let everybody know that I am fine and I am here with my children, and my children would never do a thing to me like that, holding me against my will,” she said while her children Randy, Janet and Rebbie were seated next to her. “It’s very stupid for people to think that.”

Granddaughter Paris Jackson tweeted early Thursday morning, “grandma’s here! (hash)thankyougod.” Katherine Jackson’s son Marlon also posted on Twitter that his mother had returned, and that she looked and sounded great.
