NYC’s ‘Rainbow Room’ set to reopen

The infamous Rainbow Room nightclub of Rockefeller Center is set to reopen in the fall of 2014.

The nightclub has been the historic home to epic performances by talents such as Tony Bennett and Louis Armstrong since its debut in 1934 after the Prohibition Act was overturned.

The club was closed back in 2009 due to a dispute amongst tenant and landlord.

The Rockefeller Center’s operator, Tishman Speyer, made the announcement of the reopening Tuesday.
