Singer Lady Gaga is making her acting debut in “Machete Kills.” The film’s director, Robert Rodriguez, announced the news Thursday on his Twitter page. Rodriguez wrote, “I just finished working with @LadyGaga on @MacheteKills, she kicked SO MUCH (expletive)! Holy Smokes. Blown away!” The 26-year-old “Just Dance” and “Alejandro” singer was casted alongside actors Mel Gibson and Charlie Sheen. Not much is known about her role, but it’s likely to be a cameo or smaller film appearance.
Rodriguez also directed the first “Machete” film, which was released in 2010. The “Machete” character originally came from his 2001 film, “Spy Kids.”
