Demi Moore announced Thursday that she is ending her marriage to Ashton Kutcher. Moore, 49, and Kutcher, 33, were wed in 2005. “It is with great sadness and a heavy heart that I have decided to end my six-year marriage to Ashton,” Moore said. The couple’s relationship has been the subject of tabloid speculation recently, with rumors about Kutcher’s alleged infidelity. Kutcher tweeted Thursday, “I will forever cherish the time I spent with Demi. Marriage is one of the most difficult things in the world and unfortunately sometimes they fail.”
Moore and Kutcher together created the Demi and Ashton Foundation (DNA) to combat the international sexual slavery trade. It was Kutcher’s first marriage, and Moore’s third. She was first married to rock musician Freddy Moore, and then to Bruce Willis.
