Bono, lead singer of U2, allegedly injured his arm in a cycling incident in New York’s Central Park, reports the band’s website. The singer’s injury requires surgery. The band will be cancelling this week’s planned appearances on NBC’s “The Tonight Show.” The bans was scheduled to be the band-in-residence on the Jimmy Fallon-hosted talk show. The Irish singer was recently in the news for another incident, when the rear hatch blew off the aircraft he was travelling in from Dublin to Berlin.
