Father and former manager of Beyonce, Matthew Knoweles, was married last Sunday. Knowles married former model Gena Charmaine Avery in Huston, Texas. The couple married after a year and a half of dating.
Avery, 48, is a realtor. Knowles, 61, worked as Beyonce’s manager until 2011. He brought his daughter to stardom with the group Destiny’s Child as well as through her solo career.
Knowles is still the head of Music World Entertainment. He manages many gospel singers including Grammy-winner Le’Andria Johnson.
Knowles and Beyonce’s mother divorced in 2011 after 31 years of marriage.
