New Orleans police issued an arrest warrant Tuesday for actor Cuba Gooding Jr. after an incident at a Bourbon Street bar. The 44-year-old actor allegedly pushed a bartender twice during a dispute in French Quarter. A news release claims that Gooding was at the bar at 3 a.m. Tuesday. The actor allegedly got upset with some patrons who started asking him to take photographs with them. A bartender told officers that Gooding pushed her after she asked him to calm down, and again after she told him he needed to leave and police had been called. The “Radio” and “Red Tails” actor left the bar before police arrived, and police have since issued an arrest warrant for municipal battery, a misdemeanor.

The actor is in New Orleans filming “The Butler,” a movie about a White House butler who serves eight American presidents.
