Virginia’s Republican Party mailed out flyers to voters that included explicit content about Virginia House of Delegates Democratic nominee Susanna Gibson. Gibson allegedly live-streamed sexual acts with her husband on the webcam platform Chaturbate. The flyers mailed to voters included alleged images of Gibson and her husband with “Virginia deserves better” written at the bottom.
“This candidate’s personal life is something that that candidate needs to explain to people and the Democratic Party needs to have an opinion on this,” said Governor Glenn Youngkin. “Desperate Republicans know they’re losing so they’ll do anything — even this disgusting invasion of privacy — to turn it around,” said Abhi Rahman, the communications director for the Democratic Legislative Campaign Committee.
