Former Maryland State Attorney for Baltimore City Marilyn Mosby was sentenced to 12 months of home confinement, 100 hours of community service, and three years of supervised release for her conviction of perjury and mortgage fraud. Prosecutors had asked the judge to sentence Mosby to 20 months in prison.
After the sentencing, Mosby said, “This is not over.” She continued, “But God was here today and I know he’s with me. He touched the heart of this judge and has allowed me to go home to my babies.”
