MARYLAND NEWS – Explosions set off for Baltimore’s Francis Scott Key Bridge

Crews in Baltimore sent off a chain of controlled explosives Monday to remove the remains of the Francis Scott Key Bridge. The demolition will allow the container ship that caused the collapse to be freed. The container ship crew remains aboard.

Governor Wes Moore said, “This is the best practice. Safety in this operation is our top priority.”
