Trevor Noah made history on Monday for being the first African and first black person to win an Emmy award for an outstanding talk series. Noah won the award for his show, ‘The Daily Show’, which he hosted from 2015 to 2022. 

Noah has been nominated for 18 Emmys and has won two. “Thank you to everybody else in this category,” said Noah. “Thank you to these people. We did it, baby. We did it!”
