25 years after Rowan Atkinson began the hit television show Mr. Bean, he marked its milestone anniversary with a celebration outside Buckingham Palace. He rode up to the landmark in character, complete with Mr. Bean’s Mini Cooper, and then recreated a memorable scene from the show in which he packs his vehicle full of purchases and attempts to drive it. The show, which ran from 1990 to 1995, inspired a spin-off animated series and two films, and its titular main character has appeared at the 2012 London Olympics’ opening ceremony and five commercials.
