The D.C. Department of Insurance, Securities and Banking released the approved rates for insurance plans through DC Health Link in 2015. The largest carrier, CareFirst will have higher rates than in 2014, nearly across the board. Other carriers, including Aetna and Kaiser Permanente, have more mixed outlooks for rate change, generally lowering the rates on individual and very basic HMO plans. These carriers, too, will show modest raises on other plan categories. Detailed information can be found on the DISB site, here .
