White House officials said that President Barack Obama will meet with Israeli and Palestine negotiators on Tuesday. They will discuss a new round of peace talks.
The meeting will occur at the White House as the second day of talks overseen by the State Department get underway.
The negotiations are the result of Secretary of State John Kerry’s six months of furious shuttle diplomacy. Previous efforts made by the Obama Administration to restart peace talks quickly collapsed in 2010.
