The White House Visitor Center will reopen to the public tomorrow, Saturday. The center has been closed for the past two years in order to renovate the space and implement new interactive exhibits. Also, a book store has been added. First lady Michelle Obama participated in a ribbon-cutting ceremony WEdnesday to officially reopen the center. The Visitor Center is a public/private partnership between the National Park Service and the White House Historical Association. The renovations cost $12.6 million, including a $7.5 million investment by the WHHA. The center displays more than 90 artifacts. More information on exhibits and opening times can be found on the National Park Service website.
