The body of a District of Columbia police officer who was facing charges of child pornography was pulled from the Washington Channel Tuesday.
Marc Washington, 32, has been a member of the D.C. police force since 2006 and was recently apprehended for taking naked photos of a 15-year-old girl.
Washington’s body was pulled from the water Tuesday night after police received a 911 call around 8:15 p.m.
He was transported to a local hospital where he was pronounced dead.
Police are continuing their investigation into his death.
