Huckabee: Beyoncé’s a bad role model for Obama daughters

0

Former Arkansas Governor Michael Huckabee has accused President Barack Obama and his wife, Michelle of double standards in parenting. He recently told People Magazine that he doesn’t understand why the Obamas would shield their daughters from some things, yet allows them to listen to Beyoncé’s music. He also criticized Beyoncé’s lyrics by referring to them as obnoxious and toxic mental poison. He then goes on to accuse rapper Jay-Z of exploiting his wife like a pimp. Michelle Obama’s office declined to comment. In 2012, the president thanked Beyoncé and Jay-Z for their friendship and support. Beyoncé was invited back to sing at Barack Obama’s second inauguration, as well at Mrs. Obama’s 50th birthday party. Huckabee’s latest book, titled “God, Guns, Grits and Gravy,” is chock full of criticism of Washington, New York and Hollywood and appeals directly to his conservative base. Huckabee ran for president in 2008, considered running in 2012, and has said he’s weighing whether or not to seek nomination in 2016.
