Buddy Valastro, popular baker and star of TLC’s show “Cake Boss,” is looking to open a store in the D.C. area. Although most of Valastro’s bakeries are in New Jersey, he opened the Cake Boss Café in New York’s Times Square in 2013. It sells pastries, cakes, cookies, and other treats. According to a flier circulating around many of the areas retail real estate brokers, Valastro is looking to open at 2,500 to 2,800 square feet store in densely populated high-income neighborhoods.
