Three individuals were arrested in Fairfax County after a dramatic incident involving the theft and crash of a police cruiser. The incident began when officers responded to a report of a stolen vehicle at Fair Oaks Mall. During the investigation, one of the suspects managed to commandeer a police cruiser.
A chase ensued, ending as the suspect crashed the stolen cruiser near the Fairfax County Government Center. The crash resulted in injuries to two officers and the suspect who stole the vehicle. The Fairfax County Police Department arrested all three suspects involved.
