Tyson’s Corner tax increase decision delayed

A proposal to raise real estate taxes in Tyson’s Corner has been delayed for the moment. The tax hike, very unpopular with homeowners, was supposed to generate millions to fund transportation and construction improvements in the high-traffic region of Fairfax County. A final decision on the proposed increase will be reached when the Fairfax County Board of Supervisors meets again January 8th.
