No charges for man who brought loaded rifle into VA grocery store

A Virginia man performing what officials are calling a demonstration of 2nd amendment rights, carried a loaded, semi-automatic rifle into a Kroger grocery store in Charlottesville on Sunday evening. Although the manager has banned the man from the store, police say he will not be charged with any crimes. Federal law does require a special permit to carry a concealed weapon, but because the weapon was carried openly there are no such restrictions. The 22-year-old man owned the rifle legally.
