New Loudoun County stadium faces some opposition

Residents of Potomac Green, a 55 and older community in Ashburn, Virginia, are voicing concern over a proposal to build a new stadium. The stadium, part of a mixed-use development plan by One Loudoun, would host the Loudoun Hounds of the independent Atlantic League, and possibly a second tier men’s pro soccer team. Residents opposed to the idea cite concerns of increased traffic on Route 7, parking capacity, noise, and security.
