On Sunday night, the New York Giants won the NFC championship game (20-17) in overtime against the San Francisco 49ers. During overtime, Lawrence Tynes kicked a 31-yard field goal, sending the Giants to their fifth Super Bowl and second against the New England Patriots. The Patriots were sent to their seventh Super Bowl after they beat the Baltimore Ravens (23-20) in the AFC championship game. The Patriots lost to the Giants in 2008, but the two teams will take their battle to the football field as they head to a rematch in Super Bowl XLVI. The game will air on Sunday, Feb. 5, 2012, at 6:30 p.m.
