Rick Santorum’s momentum and campaign were revived after he became the winner in the GOP presidential contests on Tuesday night. The former Pennsylvania Senator ended the night with 55 percent in Missouri, 40 percent in Colorado, and 45 percent in Minnesota, challenging the remaining Republican candidates. Mitt Romney and his allies have reportedly signaled that they will increase attacks on Santorum and former House speaker Newt Gingrich by using their financial advantage.
“I don’t stand here and claim to be the conservative alternative to Mitt Romney. I stand here to be the conservative alternative to Barack Obama,” Santorum said at an election party in Missouri.
