Obama will meet with Pope Francis

On Tuesday the White House announced that President Obama will be traveling to Europe in March to attend several summit meetings and visit Pope Francis at the Vatican. Obama will be attending the Nuclear Security Summit in the Netherlands, focusing on securing nuclear materials. The President will then travel to Brussels to visit to the seat of the European Union and attend a U.S.-E.U. Summit, meeting with NATO officials as well. After these Summit meetings, Obama will head to Rome and Vatican City to meet with the Pope, along with President Giorgio Napolitano and Prime Minister Enrico Letta.
