IRS official’s history called into question

The personal history of an IRS official was harshly commented on by one of President Obama’s advisors on Sunday. David Plouffe, a political guru, tweeted negative comments about House Government Reform and Oversight Committee chairman and Representative Darrell Issa (R-CA). The tweet proclaimed “Strong words from Mr Grand Theft Auto and suspected arsonist/insurance swindler.”

The conflict began when Issa appeared to answer questions on CNN’s program, “State of the Union.” On the show, he explained that the White House wasn’t completely honest when reporting the extent of the controversy to the public.
