Oil pipeline rejected by Obama administration

According to sources, a Canadian firm’s application for approval to construct and operate an immense oil pipeline was rejected by the Obama administration on Wednesday afternoon. The oil pipeline was planned for construction across the U.S.-Canada border. Obama’s administration will allow TransCanada to reapply once they have assessed an alternate route. The deadline of action is Feb. 21.
