MacKenzie Scott, the ex-wife of Amazon founder Jeff Bezos, is gaining attention for her significant philanthropic efforts, particularly focusing on Black maternal health. She has been actively donating large portions of her fortune to various charitable causes, and her latest contributions are aimed at addressing disparities in maternal health care for Black women.
One of the key beneficiaries of her donations is Birthing Beautiful Communities, a nonprofit that provides support to pregnant Black women who are at high risk for infant mortality.
