Two Maryland teenagers have been charged with flipping a car in a parking lot at West Virginia University.
The incident took place following WVU’s September 28 football game against Oklahoma State. Eighteen-year-old Kevin James was arrested and a warrant was issued for 18-year-old William Schwab who is a student at the University of South Carolina.
According to police, both teens are charged with felony destruction of property. If convicted they could face a $2,500 fine and up to 10 years in prison.
Chief Bob Roberts says the police received numerous tips which led officials on a 100 hour investigation into the incident.
The prosecutor’s office plans to have Schwab extradited.
