A lawsuit filed against a Baltimore County police officer in the case of a man’s death has been dismissed.
A federal jury ruled Friday that the officer did not over step boundaries when using a Taser on a man, which killed him.
The family of 40-year-old Ryan Meyers filed a $10 million lawsuit following his death. According to court documents the officer used a Taser on Meyers at least 10 times while responding to a call of domestic disturbance in 2007.
Police declared that the officer used the Taser after several verbal warnings instructing Meyers to put down a baseball bat.
