Arrest made in ice cream truck driver’s murder

On Saturday around 5:30pm, 22-year-old ice cream truck driver Brandon Brown was shot as he sold his products to children of Lucas Village in Frederick County. Larnell Lyles, 27, was arrested for the murder hours later. Police say Brown stepped out of his vehicle to sell ice cream when he was approached by a man and shot in the chest. Neighbors say they had never seen the Big Daddy Ice Cream truck in the area before. The investigation is ongoing and police say there may be more charges.
