The 1980’s pop star Rick Springfield is on trial after a New York woman filed suit claiming she suffered extensive bodily harm after he fell on her during a show in August 2004.
Forty-three-year-old Vicki Calcagno allegedly suffered a concussion and other “permanent” injuries after Springfield fell into the audience at his state fair performance almost a decade ago.
Springfield testified Tuesday that he does not remember details about the show except for the severe weather conditions that caused an earlier show that day to be cancelled.
